Reading Cloud sponsors the SLA Enterprise Award 2024

Reading Cloud is delighted to be sponsoring the SLA Enterprise of the Year Award, which celebrates one-off, progressive library projects that help to develop positive reading cultures in schools across the UK.

There is no doubt that school libraries play an important part in the academic enrichment of a student. Libraries are a quiet haven for independent study, a place of reflection and an avenue to pursue reading for pleasure. But aside from helping to improve standards in literacy and facilitate learning, school libraries can improve social interaction and nurture a community of readers across the whole student body.  

The Enterprise of the Year award puts a spotlight on the innovative and imaginative efforts schools are making to improve their school libraries and enhance the experience and enjoyment of their students.
