We will be running various offers (“Offers”) as part of a promotional campaign beginning on 1 September 2025 and ending on 31 March 2026 (“Promotion Period”). A brief outline of each of the current offers appears below.
By participating in an Offer (irrespective of whether participation occurs (i) prior to the Promotion Period (ii) during the Promotion Period (ii) after the Promotion Period) you agree that you will be legally bound by the Offer Terms and Conditions together with (i) any instructions and information regarding the Offers which we (or a third party promoter) may provide to you and (ii) the terms and conditions of our website including, but not limited to, our Privacy Policy. You further agree that in the event that Reading Cloud product(s) promoted by the Offers are purchased, you will be legally bound by the product(s) terms and conditions which can be found at Terms and Conditions.
Apart from the Peters Books Offer and the Sora by OverDrive Ebooks Offer the promoter of the Offers is Education Software Solutions Limited (“ESS”) trading as ESS Reading Cloud.
References to “we”, and “our” are to ESS trading as ESS Reading Cloud. ESS is a limited company registered in England and Wales with Registration Number 12595779 and with its registered office at 11 Kingsley Lodge, 13 New Cavendish Street, London W1G 9UG. References to “you or “your” refer to you as the individual authorised by an academy trust, school or other educational establishment to participate in Offers on its behalf. Whenever used the singular will include the plural and the plural the singular.
We reserve the right to change these Offer Terms and Conditions and to withdraw, cancel, suspend, or amend any Offer without prior notice at any time.
We reserve the right to (i) determine eligibility to participate in an Offer and (ii) disqualify any participant who breaches these Offer Terms and Conditions or who engages in any behaviour deemed fraudulent or unethical.
Offers are only open to academy trusts, schools or other educational establishments (“Literacy Entity”) and an age restriction of 18 years or older applies to individuals who participate in Offer(s) on behalf of a Literacy Entity. By participating in an Offer you confirm that you are authorised to do so by the relevant Literacy Entity.
By participating in an Offer you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found here. You acknowledge that (i) we will process your personal details on the legal basis of our legitimate business interests and (ii) use your personal details to assist with the administration of the Offers.
We may, at our discretion, facilitate access to Offers promoted by third parties before, during and after the Promotion Period. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for the performance or suitability of these Offers which will, additionally, be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party promoter.
We may, at our discretion, permit participation outside the Promotion Period in Offers promoted by Reading Cloud.
We shall not be liable to you and/or the Literacy Entity authorising you to participate in an Offer if you suffer any financial loss or other damage arising out of the withdrawal, cancellation, suspension or amendment of any Offer irrespective of whether we are the promoter or a third party is the promoter. Neither we nor any third party provider shall be liable to you and/or the Literary Entity authorising you to participate in an Offer, irrespective of the reason, if you fail to take advantage of an Offer whether partially or fully.
The Offer Terms and Conditions, any instructions and information regarding the Offers, and each Offer are all governed by English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall apply.
Employees of the ParentPay Group, its affiliates, or anyone connected with the promotion and/or organisation of these Offers are not eligible to participate in the Offers.
Our decision in relation to any Offer is final and binding.

This Offer is available to customers of the ParentPay Group who currently have a contract for another ParentPay product.
The standard fees for new customers who enter into a three year contract with ESS trading as ESS Reading Cloud between 1 November 2025 and 31 March 2026 will be discounted by between 22% and 28% depending on the product(s).
The standard fees for existing customers who renew a contract for a further three years with ESS trading as ESS Reading Cloud between 1 November 2025 and 31 March 2026 will be discounted by between 22% and 28% depending on the product(s).
A variable discount up to 25% on our standard fees is available to multi-academy trusts. The amount of the discount is dependent on various factors and will be calculated on a case by case basis.
We will price-match a lower price competitor quote provided the competitor’s quote is system generated, supplied to us promptly upon request and (i) in respect of an identical product (ii) being offered on identical terms to our product and (iii) not part of a promotion or discounted offer being run by the competitor itself or by a third party on behalf of the competitor.
This is provided by us to all schools subscribing for the first time to our Junior Librarian and/or Reading Cloud products. The welcome pack consists of 5,000 barcode labels and a wired barcode scanner. The welcome pack is limited to one per school. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, in whole or in part.
The Offer is to permit primary schools who purchase Reading Cloud with access to Reading Cloud as well, at no additional cost and via one licence.
This is promoted by the third party Peters Ltd trading as Peters Books and the Offer is therefore, additionally, subject to the Terms and Conditions of Peters Ltd which are accessible via the link Peters Terms and Condition.

In outline the Offer is as follows : 1. All Reading Cloud, Eclipse and Junior Librarian subscribers are eligible for a 30% discount at Peters Books off the RRP of books* when using offer code RC30. 2. Schools will get 30% off the RRP on the majority of books in stock when offer code RC30 is quoted at the checkout stage of their basket. 3. *This Offer excludes some short discount items (a small number of academic titles, reading schemes, big books and audio books), bespoke selections and book pack orders. 4. The Offer only applies to books purchased directly from Peters Books and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. 5. This discount is available until 31 December 2026.

In outline the Offer is as follows : Sora by OverDrive is offering three-year contracts with 25% discounted annual fees for both its Secondary Ebooks NOW and Primary Ebooks NOW digital libraries. The Offer is valid until 31st March 2026.
